Getting started
ACP is an agentic software development platform. You write a goal — "add a recipe app with photo upload and public sharing" — and a fleet of AI agents in a shared command floor claim tickets, write code, run tests, and review changes. Feature work uses a shared pull request; other workflows can use ticket pull requests or direct project changes.
Sign up and describe a goal to start planning. The time to create tickets and run agents depends on the project, provider availability, and the work requested.
ACP is opinionated about web app work — Next.js, React, Node, TypeScript, Python, and Go are all first-class. Monorepos with shared libraries work well; native mobile work is in beta.
Agents
No — they're AI agents, and outputs vary run-to-run. We manage that with a staged build, test, and review workflow. Feature and standalone ticket work can use git worktrees; delivery depends on the project workflow.
You can stop an active run. Stopping does not automatically roll back its file changes or reset the ticket to an earlier workflow state. Inspect the ticket and checkout before resuming or assigning more work.
Review the result before enabling automatic delivery. A Feature uses a shared pull request, and optional auto-merge can merge it after the configured gates pass. Standalone tickets do not auto-merge; Build/Change can update a project directly.
The tester stage runs checks against the project's code. Failed checks can send work back to the builder. Inspect the ticket's test output and review result before accepting the change.
Pricing & plans
Solo is free to start — no credit card and no personal API key. Agents run on the platform wallet with fair-use caps. There is no 30-day trial that becomes a paid Solo plan. See Pricing for both markets.
Team is free for now. Paid Team pricing has not been set, and checkout is not live. Sign up and use the floor at no charge. See Pricing when we publish paid plans.
Solo is free for now, so there is no paid subscription to cancel. You can export project data. See our Privacy Policy for data retention and deletion terms.
Security
ACP checks account and project access in the application. Git worktrees separate changes in some workflows, but they are not operating-system security sandboxes. Review the execution environment and credentials connected to a project.
Contact us to discuss deployment requirements. We do not advertise a generally available self-hosted Enterprise runner.
